The Wander Years is Back
The Wander Years is back! One last journal... - Gidday!
Did you really think you’d heard the last from The Wander Years? Just recently a gap in my memory caused me to visit one of my old journals; I wanted to find out the name of a little village I had stayed in while travelling Vietnam . Of course, just like digging through old photo albums I continued to read and all those recent memories and experiences came flooding back.
It reminded me that I had always intended to write one more journal, as a sort of follow up to the journey itself, because moving to NZ to live was always part of the challenge. So, old friends, if you’d like to get all the latest, and see how I fared in this beautiful country…. You know what to do (link at bottom).
But that is not all…. You may remember at the end of my travels I went off on a bit of a tangent, to write and travel for WorldNomads.com for a month. I had to post a blog on their site, something I found to be quite a challenge as blogging is all about keeping it short n’ sweet – something I am not very good at. However, along with my friend Matt, I had a ball and created some fun movies to go with the text. Some of you followed that, some did not – I am pleased to announce, nearly three years after completion, I have finally got around to uploading all the blog text to The Wander Years!
The initiative, run by WorldNomads.com was called the Ambassador Project. To keep things clean, I have only posted text and movies on this site; if you wish to view any images, please follow links to the WorldNomads site.
I hope you are all enjoying life and making the most of every moment. For my part, as always it is a bit of a roller coaster and I still wish for more travel; however, I am patient – it can wait a while for now.
